The Revision manager is an excellent tool to keep a track of your documents, automatic transmittals, revision and publishing records all retained with in the model. It takes the drudgery out of creating transmittals

I totally agree with Peter. For an automatic revision management system you can't go past PM. Possibly the transmittal form can be more open to customisation.
