Upgrade Policy

ArchiCAD Upgrades ship annually. Every ArchiCAD Upgrade requires us to re-compile, update, re-test and re-package our Tools for that upgrade. Not only this but the underlying ArchiCAD API (that allows us to create Add-ons in the first place) can undergo changes as ArchiCAD develops and in most instances this requires changes to our Tools to ensure they remain compatible.

An Upgrade doesn't only entail making sure our Tools work for that particular version but also requires significant migration testing to ensure projects that have our Tools for one version seamlessly migrate and work in the next version.

On average it takes our team 3-4 months to complete this process each and every upgrade - a significant business investment.

In line with our Support Policy paid upgrades also ensures we can continue to support our customers.
