I joined the team in 1996 as an Architecture graduate to support the implementation and growth of ArchiCAD in New Zealand. My focus on technology and software development was instrumental in the formation and ongoing development of the Cadimage Tools and their worldwide distribution. Purchased Cadimage in October 2006 after working in a variety of roles in the company including visualisations, technical support, sales support, programming, financial management and then Managing Director of Graphisoft New Zealand and Cadimage Tools Limited.

Tracey Gatland
Sales Director (Change Agent)
I joined Cadimage in 2005 after being attracted to the innovative service focused company culture. I initially looked after Business Development (still do) and became a Director/ part owner in October 2006. I have a B.Sc in Business Psychology from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York. I have a broad business background with 12 years management experience leading large teams in Service, Sales and Marketing roles in the telecommunications, power and advertising industries. I am jazzed by our great team, good working relationships and finding business solutions for our customers and potential customers.

Andrew Ecker
Sales Director
I have 22 years experience in the CAD industry. Completed an honours degree in Maths in Adelaide, taught for 2 years, then travelled extensively and Christchurch has been home since 1991. Started with ArchiCAD in '92 involving all aspects from technical to sales and developed the substantial South Island ArchiCAD base. I also have expertise in Intergraph software and Solid Edge. As a small business owner for over 10 years I have a strong understanding of customer needs and how our software can meet these. Was invited to become a Director and shareholder of the Cadimage Group in New Zealand in October 2011 along with the merger of my own business.

Glen Richardson
Developer (API Guy)
I gained a New Zealand Certificate in Architectural Drafting and worked on small commercial and residential design throughout the greater Waikato for about 10 years, 3 years trying to work out how to afford ArchiCAD and 4 years using ArchiCAD, before returning to university to study Computer Mathematical Science. I created a New Zealand Bracing add-on for ArchiCAD as my honours paper. After this I moved from being a client of Cadimage to being an employee in 2003. I work on Custom projects and Tools for ArchiCAD where I am able to combine my knowledge of architecture with that of computers to provide useful enhancements.

Andrew Watson
Developer (GDL Guru Guy)
I (GDL Handbook author) received my MSc in Physics from the University of Canterbury and then found work as a draftsman with a small architectural design company. After a few months working with pen and ink on a drawing board, we upgraded to ArchiCAD 4.5. It wasn’t long before I started to dabble in GDL programming, and with encouragement from our local ArchiCAD reseller, Theometric Software was launched. The product range evolved to include Door and Window Builder, Stair Builder and Rapid Details. In 2004, Theometric Software was absorbed into Cadimage. Subsequently I have continued to hone my GDL expertise and related skills while working on a range of projects.

Joshua Osborne
Community Manager (Eccentric IT guy)
I joined Cadimage Tools in 2004 after studying for a Computer Science degree. I am the guy who “knows stuff about computers” and like curly technical problems.
As a Community Manager I work towards bringing more traffic to our websites by managing the blog, movies, website campaigns and email communication. I am also the go to IT guy.

Mark Horrocks
Solutions Team Leader (Draftsman detail guy)
I started with the company in 2005 after 15 years of computer drafting experience both in New Zealand and the UK. I have worked in small to very large firms on everything from store fit outs to huge scale residential developments. I gained extensive systems and setup knowledge from managing drafting teams on large projects in one of New Zealand’s largest Architecture practices. I am responsible for the team of Trainers and Support Specialists and write most of the training literature and product procedures, whilst still having the opportunity to run training sessions and interact with our users. I am also the data transfer specialist here for both 3D and 2D collaboration.(And as we move more into collaborating with our consultants, I am the go-to-guy when it comes to data transfer for both 3D and 2D data.)

James Service
Training & Education (Registered Architect)
I (ride a mountain bike with no gears) look after training for our tertiary students and tutors in New Zealand and write and implement training programs for ArchiCAD and the Tools. I also spend a lot of time in architecture practices training and working to help people to push design limits. I have been a Registered Architect in New Zealand since 2006 and have a BArch with Honours from UNITEC Auckland with some study at RMIT Melbourne. While in Melbourne I worked on international design competitions as well as the Federation Square Project and have used ArchiCAD in practice in New Zealand for 4 years before joining the Tools team in 2007.

Christine Trummer
Support & Translation
I am from Germany and have multiple architectural degrees in addition to a strong background in working experience. Besides working as an independent contractor in several practices in Germany I have finished my second master thesis at the Technical University of Berlin in December 2010 where I have also worked as a teaching assistant in CAD drawing. I have been operating with ArchiCAD in a variety of settings for five years. Almost all of my University projects and most of the work in my professional environments were designed with ArchiCAD. In January 2011 I have relocated to New Zealand to gain work experience on an international level.

Radomir Perzina
Web Developer (Super qualified multi-lingual guy)
I moved to New Zealand from the Czech Republic in 2008 and joined the Cadimage Tools team soon after arriving in the country. I speak English, Czech and German and get a buzz out of delivering web based solutions for our customers and team members. I have a Ph.D in Computer Science, M.Sc in Managerial Infomatics and a B.Sc in Management Information Systems. I have worked as a Programmer Analyst, Project Manager, Web Developer and lectured in Mathematical Methods in Economics at university level. I am familiar with a wide range of database systems, operating systems and development tools.

I am originally from Liverpool and then settled in New Zealand. I joined Cadimage in 2004 after a career in Primary School teaching, raising a family and a 5 year OE. I am responsible for front desk back up and many of the behind the scenes tasks that ensure the Auckland office runs smoothly.

Tobias Jeckel
On the Ground in Germany
I joined the Cadimage Team in March 2011 to help bring our awesome tools to the German market. I study Business and Technology at the Technical University of Munich. After spending some time working for Cadimage in New Zealand I firmly believe that the German ArchiCAD scene will grow to love our Tools and service focused company culture. Because I am on site in Munich I am able to deliver value for the German customer and cater to their specific needs. My super language skills and passion for Architecture, will pave the way for Cadimage Tools in Germany.

Debbie Garrett

I joined Cadimage in 1994 (longest standing team member, sharp memory and passion for customer stories) in an Administration capacity, moving into an Account Management role in early 2007. I am primarily responsible for looking after our existing customers to ensure they receive the services and products they need to achieve their business goals. I am committed to providing the highest level of service to our valued clients.

Jacqui Barrie
Administration Co-ordinator
I joined Graphisoft in 2011 in an Administration capacity and am also responsible for Reception. I have had an extensive and varied career in Administration both paid and in a volunteer capacity. I am passionate about providing support for our team to ensure customers get the best possible service.

Jonathan Breen
Support

 I (am a petrol-head) moved to New Zealand in 2011 after traveling around the world. I gained a BSc Hons in Architecture in Ireland and have used ArchiCAD in an academic and professional environment since 2005. I have extensive experience in customer service and have been involved in highly technical roles requiring an aptitude to problem solving and alternative thinking. I provide support for architects and draftspersons in the use of ArchiCAD and Cadimage tools and assist in the production & quality tests of our vast range of Objects & Tools.

Tate Gibbes

 I (the other new guy) gained my Diploma of Architectural Technology in 2001. I have worked for a number of firms doing a vast array of work ranging from basic house alterations, to high end residential, some light commercial and even a state of the art pig pennery.  I spent a lot of time learning, implementing and teaching fellow staff members good draughting practices to get the most of both ArchiCAD and, of course, the awesome Cadimage Tools (shameless little plug). I also run the Auckland ArchiCAD BIM User Group, so if you are interested in joining us, feel free to email me.
